Marilyn Pincus

Biography

Marilyn Pincus has written books and articles for the major publishers of business information including Barron’s Educational Series, Inc., McGraw-Hill, Prentice-Hall, Simon & Schuster, Kaplan Publishing and Adams Media.

Based near Phoenix, Arizona, she operates Marilyn Pincus, Inc. Her books have been translated into the Portuguese, Danish, Spanish and Korean languages and two versions of the Chinese language. The books have been widely sold in the United States and Canada and are available to people in many countries.

Her forte is research; much of it is interview-based. She weaves what she learns into the clever stories that make her how-to-achieve-business-success-strategies easy to understand and easy to use.

She’s been a published writer since the 80’s and devotes most of her time today to writing her own books and ghostwriting. She pleads guilty to being jazzed about ghostwriting. Her enthusiasm is palpable and one of Marilyn’s ghosting clients says, "I’m in awe of your ability to understand what I wanted to say and craft it in a way that made it fresh and exciting."

Years ago, editors at "Highlights for Children" purchased Marilyn’s first work of fiction. She wrote numerous articles for the Children’s Page of "The Christian Science Monitor." She’s a member of the prestigious Authors Guild headquartered in NYC, the International Association of Business Communicators, San Francisco, CA and Women’s Studies Advisory Council (WOSAC) at the University of Arizona.
